Your dogs first experience at a boarding facility can be stressful. At  Cedar Valley Kennels, we will do everything possible to make sure your companion has a pleasant stay. Below you will find a few tips to make your pets first and future stays at Cedar Valley a pleasurable experience.

   Helpful Tips

Bring your own food:

Although we will supply dog food at Cedar Valley Kennels, a sudden change in your dog's diet can cause him/her to have an upset stomach and diarrhea.
We will gladly follow your feeding schedule and feed your dog their food the way you prepare it. There are no additional charges!

Personal items from home:

You are more than welcome to bring your dog's favorite toy, blanket, bed, etc..., while he/she is boarding. A favorite blanket, pillow or bed will have your scent on it and may help relax your dog during their stay.

Try to arrive at the Kennel on time :

We are flexible with drop off and pick up times but we do ask you to make an appointment time. If you are a new guest at the kennel , you must fill out our Boarding Contract and provide proof of vaccinations. Please allow 10-15 minutes for check-in.

Label your dog's personal items:

We will do everything possible to return your dog's personal items upon departure. Labeled items can be easily identified if they need to be washed, stored or moved for any reason. Your dog's first and last name will identify the item perfectly.

   Make Goodbyes Short:

Pets reflect our emotions so please try not  to make your farewell emotional this will cause unnecessary stress on your pet.

Please Remember this is a Boarding Kennel and you should try not to bring small children for their own safety.
